Daantje van de Polder, founder of Mizzieezz, travelled for her work as a producer around the world. She visited the most beautiful locations and came in contact with all sort of cultures.
She met many interesting women and discovered that in some of those cultures the hand was seen as a gem, beautiful decorated. To them their hand is an extension of their identity. Daantje was inspired by those women.
Together with her feeling for style and fashion she designed completely new fashionable accessories for the hand. On her search for materials she chose stretch leather and knew this was the perfect look and feeling for her HandGem.
